Well on Monday my lovely horse and I had an accident. Whilst grooming my lovely equine after an eventful ride, I ducked around the front as I am wont to do. I prefer it because it's faster and usually safer but Jedda ducked her head just at the wrong time and hit the back of my skull with her jawbone
which as you can see is incredebly prominent bone. It didn't connect that hard, she had just been lowering her head to see what I was doing and I just laughed it off but after I'd put her away and was heading back to house it got harder to walk striaght or even think and I was getting very tired and dizzy. So I went to find our house matron, but she was out so I found our house master who told me to sleep to matron got back. Now I rang my mum to tell her I was worried I had a concussion she said lying down was really, really, really bad.
So to cut a long story short I've the the week off with a concussion and neck damage. I won't be riding for a while and I'm gonna have to have physio again for goodness knows how long this time! Sigh
Moral of the story? Horses have hard heads
