A while ago I promised that anyone who started following my blog would get a post about them. Although I could start in chronological order where would the fun be in that? So, Morgan, don't fret your turn is coming.
Instead I'd like to start with my sister.
My Sister
Age - 20!
Fave colour - probably black to wear, only not in an emo way, more in a cool, casual, kind of sexy starving artist way?
Fave food - any thing her husband (a cheif) cooks!
Fave animal - Probs me, otherwise her dog Thorny! (a.k.a Smegol)
A song to describe her - either Better Together by Jack Johnson or Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers, but thats just me, ; )
Reasons she's awesome - Infinite!
But to name a few,
I know you'll always be there for me, whether I need a hug or a slap in the face. When everyone else is mad at me you still like me! When I was little you'd come to school with me and scare of the bullies, then the bullies would all get crushes on you and start being really nice to me. (It actually happened twice!) When you have babies you'll let me play with them and when it's two in the morning and it's doing something weird I hope you'll call me. When I go to uni at MIT we'll forget to keep in touch till we need each other, and then it won't matter how far away you are... you'll still be there for me!
So there you go, my big sister, I LOVE YOU!!!

Feeling a Little Emo...
Do you ever get the feeling that no-one gets you? I geuss it's a pretty regular teenage thing but that doesn't make it anymore fun. I wish people were aware how much effort you put into things. I try so hard to help everyone around me and then people complain that I don't listen and I'm reserved. I'd love to just be totally dramatic and selfish for just one day, so people saw what they were missing. But I can't, cause I don't try so hard just for appearences sake, I actually care about everyone around me. I care about my friends, the prefects, the moth trapped in my room and that guy in class who say's I'm ugly. They're all still alive and I respect them. They might make me angry but I'll still try to help them. Sometimes I worry that my idea of helping makes things worse. I geuss I have to try.
In spite of all this I still wished they noticed, a tutor complimented me today but said
True Nerdyness
I went to the video game convention at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on the weekend!
A couple of the highlights were,
- Getting evacuated out of the building for 15 minutes or so and having three crazy guys serenading the crowd to keep us occupied!
- A total of 6 free lanyards!
- Winning a PlayStation hat!
- Watching a CS tournament
- Playing Soul Caliber for the first time
- Buying a shirt with Darth Vader saying " Noob, I am your father"

- Seeing the crazy bunny from Rayman Vs Raving Rabbits!
And so much more!
Toodles!

Dramatic Video Games!
Holy Cow!!! I put in an application to do a drama workshop with Real TV last week, I figured that it would be a pretty awesome opportunity even though I'm not sure I really want to act professionally. I found out today that I got in! Can you believe it? They sent out info to hundreds of schools and they still accepted my late application.
But that's not even the end! I got in to that Game Design workshop I really wanted to go to!!! I'm so excited! I've been thinking more and more about looking into video games as a profession. I have a pretty sturdy plan of what I want to study at uni but it's an option I really want to keep open.
Yay! I feel so wanted!

Game Development Workshop
Deakin Uni has a Game Design workshop that I really want to go to! I've put my application in but we have three applicants for two positions. The teacher says he's asking for another slot but I really want to go! Cross your fingers for me!

Ecce Romani!
Well, I'm supposed to be in the library doing my latin worksets right now. This would be fine if I had the vaguest sense of what they were about. *sigh* Correspondence is would be perfect if there wasn't so much assumed knowledge!
Anyway
In all honesty I've spent the day playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 so I probably wouldn't be working regardless! It is by the way an awesome game. The only problem today was when I pulled it out in class and the guy next to me saw the case. We had a weird conversation alternating between how sad it was that I was playing it in English and how awesome a game it was. Oh well, not much will stand between me and a good Star Wars video game!

Awesome Reveiw #1
No jokes. Every now and then a crappy little flash game is so good you don't care about the flat lack of graphics or the user made levels.
One such game is N and I love it.
Imagine this, you're a crazy little ninja dude with awesome jumping prowess. You make your way through levels with at least 15 different ways to die each time.
To rate it
Graphics - 3/5
Concept - 2/5
Gameplay - 5/5
Awesomness Regardless - 72/5
Yay!

Vegetarianism
Yes, I'm vegetarian. I'm an ovo-lacto vegetarian to be exact. For those of you less familiar with the terms used to describe dietary requirements I do not eat any product that has the death of an animal as a result. This includes things like steak, chicken nuggets and fish fingers but also things like Gelatine and Rennet. Which unfortunately rules out a hell of a lot of things like lollies, regular cheese and heaps of tasty things you would never think contained meat. So yeah, it sucks.
Now all that notwithstanding one of the things that I find really annoying is the fact that out of every four people who find out, three feel the need to tell me why it is stupid, unnecessary and all my fault. I'm never really sure what is my fault, but what ever it is I'm to blame apparently. Really people, I've been veggo for more than five years, in all that time do you not think that if there was an argument against it that would change my mind, some annoying narrow-minded wanker other than you will have brought it to my attention? No, well then go ahead Einstein, wow me with your entirely new argument.
So seriously people, next time you meet a veggo, try finding out why they made that choice instead of attempting to prove them wrong.
And you know what? If that’s too much for you? Try just accepting it. Some of us crazy tree-hugging hippies are actually pretty fun people.
Greetings! or It's me, yay!
Weeeeeellllllll here we are then!
