WoW!

Well after three days straight of loading I finally got World of Warcraft to load on my electric beauty I got to create my own little horned purple Draenei hunter. Going my my lucky magic name Agganorth she's leveled up to lv14 in three days and has a kitty called Scruffy (a.k.a Scruffmeister or Scruffykins). Just cause it's fun to yell "Kill Scruffykins, KILL!" and get funny looks from mum and dad!

Yay! It's me!

Photos!!!

Well it's been a while and the blog looks dull so I thought I'd put on some pretty pictures in holiday spirit! Yay!
First up is our Christmas tree, it was massive!

As soon as I work out how to rotate them you'll know!
I was bored the other day and looking at a brilliant blog called Crafty Tardis which is lovely and it had a few things about stencils and using some pictures and a permanent marker I made a few Star Wars pictures on an old sheet which look quite nice if I say so myself!

I also did one of Yoda but I botched the eyes so I'm starting again

Holiday Plans

I'd really like to do some volunteer work this holidays. Someone asked what my plans were last week and the beach, bikinis and friends flashed through my mind, followed quickly by the realization of all the horrible things that are going to happen this holiday, death from malnutrition, euthanasia in pounds and all sorts of other things that make me wonder if it's fair. So I'm gonna volunteer, I know that I can't save the universe but it doesn't seem fair to relax and be decedent when there are people and animals that need my help. How can I?

My Followers!

A while ago I promised that anyone who started following my blog would get a post about them. Although I could start in chronological order where would the fun be in that? So, Morgan, don't fret your turn is coming.
Instead I'd like to start with my sister.
My Sister
Age - 20!
Fave colour - probably black to wear, only not in an emo way, more in a cool, casual, kind of sexy starving artist way?
Fave food - any thing her husband (a cheif) cooks!
Fave animal - Probs me, otherwise her dog Thorny! (a.k.a Smegol)
A song to describe her - either Better Together by Jack Johnson or Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers, but thats just me, ; )
Reasons she's awesome - Infinite!
But to name a few,
I know you'll always be there for me, whether I need a hug or a slap in the face. When everyone else is mad at me you still like me! When I was little you'd come to school with me and scare of the bullies, then the bullies would all get crushes on you and start being really nice to me. (It actually happened twice!) When you have babies you'll let me play with them and when it's two in the morning and it's doing something weird I hope you'll call me. When I go to uni at MIT we'll forget to keep in touch till we need each other, and then it won't matter how far away you are... you'll still be there for me!
So there you go, my big sister, I LOVE YOU!!!

Feeling a Little Emo...

Do you ever get the feeling that no-one gets you? I geuss it's a pretty regular teenage thing but that doesn't make it anymore fun. I wish people were aware how much effort you put into things. I try so hard to help everyone around me and then people complain that I don't listen and I'm reserved. I'd love to just be totally dramatic and selfish for just one day, so people saw what they were missing. But I can't, cause I don't try so hard just for appearences sake, I actually care about everyone around me. I care about my friends, the prefects, the moth trapped in my room and that guy in class who say's I'm ugly. They're all still alive and I respect them. They might make me angry but I'll still try to help them. Sometimes I worry that my idea of helping makes things worse. I geuss I have to try.

In spite of all this I still wished they noticed, a tutor complimented me today but said

"I think, you need to consider listening more to others, taking into account their needs... "
That hurt a little. I think that I do my best to always put others first, always. I do everything within my power from making sure no-one has to walk to music prac alone, to make sure that everyone who needs math help gets it, to give everyone a shoulder, to be there...
Am I really failing at it so badly?

True Nerdyness

I went to the video game convention at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on the weekend!
A couple of the highlights were,

  • Getting evacuated out of the building for 15 minutes or so and having three crazy guys serenading the crowd to keep us occupied!
  • A total of 6 free lanyards!
  • Winning a PlayStation hat!
  • Watching a CS tournament
  • Playing Soul Caliber for the first time
  • Buying a shirt with Darth Vader saying " Noob, I am your father"

  • Seeing the crazy bunny from Rayman Vs Raving Rabbits!

And so much more!

Toodles!
